Well school has started at our house and we are almost through the first week.  Time goes by so fast, I can hardly believe the summer has passed and we are looking forward to fall! 

Here is a mobile picture of my kids (since my daughter misplaced my camera) I had to rely on my phone, not the best picture but we at least got one

Ava started 1st grade and Dawson started 4th grade at a brand new school..nerves were high that morning but they have settled in nicely this week…a few speed bumps but nothing we couldn’t handle with a little love and prayer!

Onto some business!  I have created a new kit for this week that was so much fun to design.  The kit evolved around 5 sweet rosettes that my daughter Ava and I made with paper from scratch…a fun little flower template, cardstock, a printer, some soft paints, a scissor, and a little rolling and curling, finished off with a gemstone and VIOLA we had rosettes..from there this kit came to life   I hope you like it as much as I do.  As soon as I scanned in those rosettes for this kit, Ava was off and running with them and they became embellishments for her babies clothes and hair, lol!  She just loves them!  Maybe one day I can snag them back so they can be put to use on packaging for a gift or card or some other hybrid project, but for now they are fashioned nicely in a bitty babies hair, lol

Here is a hybrid card I designed….it is a wedding card, I think this kit is perfect for scrapping wedding photos and yet is so versatile and really has so many uses for different themes based on what pictures you are wanting to preserve!

Happy Thursday!  Today is one of my best friend’s birthdays.  I celebrate you Sara!  You are fearfully and wonderfully made by a Sovereign, Great God!  Happy Birthday to you!

I hope this blog post finds you all well   I can’t believe we are heading into the end of August and that my babies are headed off to another year of school in just a short time!  On my to do list: Pick up school supplies.  I need to do that. 

With school in mind, I was thinking about designing a school themed kit, but I am just not sure I have the inspiration at this point.  Maybe school shopping will induce some inspiration and creativity.

On that note, I have created a new kit called Balance and it is in my store at The Digi Chick today and tomorrow for 20% off.  I really love this kit, I think because I find the colors so eyecatching!  It is my hope that you do as well.

Hey there, been way too long since I have hopped on to blog…this has got to change!  I am looking forward to a fun filled day.  Our family is going to Higher Ground Christian Music Festival and I can’t wait!  Such an amazing line up of Christian artists for today!   From Barlow Girl and Mark Schultz to Chris Tomlin!  I am so excited for a wonderful night of worship and I am praying the weather holds and it doesn’t get rained out.  Right now we are in a severe t-storm watch!
